Whether it's nature and landscapes, abstract, or candid photography, painting with light as a form of storytelling is what inspires my art. I feel photography is a medium that offers me a powerful opportunity to stay in the moment, and it brings me joy to be able to witness the world through a creative lens and tell stories about moments in time that evoke emotion.

My enthusiasm for photography started at the young age of 6 when I got my first camera. Around the same age is also when my love of the wilderness sprouted. I was born in Seattle, however, I grew up in both Seattle and Gustavus, Alaska, so naturally, I felt at home in the wilderness. I am strongly influenced by the Taoist and Buddhist principles of balance, nature, and serenity. My work is about finding new perspectives in the environments that surround us, and I aim to share my photographs with others so that they may also enjoy the essence of that moment.
